In Ukraine, only 6% of consumers buy packaged food online and only 3% buy fresh food online, reports Retailers, citing a Nielsen case study.
At the same time, 58% of Ukrainians said they buy clothes, shoes, and accessories on the Internet, 50% buy the IT products and mobile devices, 44% buy consumer equipment, 40% buy cosmetics and personal care products.
Over the past two years, online purchases of packaged and fresh food products in the world have increased by 15%. According to Nielsen, the turnover of global online commerce in this segment is $ 70 billion.
