Kormotech Company will open the production of wet food for cats and dogs in the free economic zone – in Kedainiai (Lithuania), in 2019.

The plant with a capacity of 20 thousand tons per year will work on the most automated Danish and German equipment worth 6 million euros. The staff will be only 70 people.

The launch of the enterprise is one of the stages of the global expansion of Kormotech. The company has plans to expand in the markets of the EU and America.

According to Rostislav Vovka, CEO of Kormotech, the new plant will produce feeds under its own brands and under a private label.

Lithuania is close to Ukraine geographically and its conditions of doing business are attractive, for example, it has tax privileges for 10 years, he explains.

As we wrote earlier, until 2021 Kormotech promises to expand the production of wet and dry food by 35% and to develop new products together with the world institutions.
