NIBULON is planning to increase the capacities of five grain terminals in the Nikolaev, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions until next season.
The company informs that additional grain elevators will be constructed at the “Voznesenskaya” (22,000 tons), “Golopristanskaya” (20,000 tons), “Khortitsa” (16,500 tons), “Kamenka-Dneprovskaya” (16,000 tons) and Novoodesskaya (10 thousand tons) branches.
The next objects, considering the demand for reloading terminals and grain storage facilities, will even larger — 96 thousand tons each one, instead of 76 thousand tons, noted in “NIBULON”. In particular, this applies to the projects in Maryinsky (Dnepropetrovsk region) and Ternovka (Zaporozhye region), which are planned to be implemented next year.
Currently, the agriholding is completing the installation of new storage tanks for cereals, beans and oilseeds for 20 thousand tons in the Poltava region. In general, the storage capacity of grain in the company reached 2 million tons.
Previously we reported that the grain company also planned to invest $ 2 billion in the construction of new grain storage facilities and transport barges in the Nile Delta region in Egypt. New granaries will be built on two sites near the ports of Alexandria and Damietta.
Recently, NIBULON attracted $ 80 million from a consortium of European banks. This amount will go to replenish working capital for the purchase and export of agricultural products.
