In Transcarpathia appeared the first official small enterprise, which will be engaged in the production of a traditional strong alcoholic beverage from fruit alcohol — palinka. It calls LLC “Agrofruktservis”, the association “Ukrsadprom” informs.
The work of the plant and its equipment fully comply with European standards. Modern equipment was installed here, which was manufactured in Europe under the order, employees were trained by foreign colleagues, and the full production process was tested by specialists from Hungary.
The capacities of the enterprise for today allow to make a thousand bottles of a drink a day, processing thus 5-7 thousand kg of fruit and berries.
According to Vasily Mayoroshа, the director of “Agrofruktservice”, 17 workers are currently employed at the plant on a permanent basis and 12 more are being employed seasonally.
The idea of creating such a production was proposed by Victor Feer, chairman of the Association of Producers of Fruit Distillates of Transcarpathia. He was prompted by changes in the legislation regulating the production and turnover of ethyl, cognac and fruit alcohols, thanks to which favorable conditions for the activity of small and medium-sized producers of fruit and berry drinks were formed.
The association Ukrsadprom notes that the establishment of such an enterprise will serve as a good channel for marketing products for Ukrainian producers of fruits and berries and will allow farmers to count on competitive prices from processors.
The products, which are produced at the plant “Agrofruktservis”, are natural and do not contain preservatives, flavoring agents, coloring agents, flavors or industrial flavor additives. It enters the market under the trademarks “PALINOCHKA” and “First Transcarpathian Palincharnya”.
Palinka or Hungarian fruit brandy or fruit vodka is a strong alcoholic drink, produced in the countries of the Carpathian Basin, made of fruit material and having a strength of at least 40%.
