For the first half of the year, Ukraine exported goods to Africa for $ 1.8 billion, BusinessCensor reports with reference to the Ministry of Economic Development.
Based on their statistics, the Ministry’s analysts calculated the export potential of the most promising African countries for Ukraine. A considerable share in it is occupied by the goods of agrifood segment.
For example, to Nigeria, our country can export confectionery products at $ 57 million, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks worth more than $ 25 million.
For export to Ghana, an advantageous direction is an agricultural machinery, the latest technologies for the production and processing of food products, food, and processing industry goods that are not produced in Nigeria.
Earlier we reported that Nigeria could become a logistical hub that would allow Ukrainian producers to enter the market of the African continent.
In general, the African direction firmly holds more than a quarter of the external shipments of Ukrainian flour. And taking into account the Middle East, the indicator exceeds 46%.
