AGRO-2018 is the most important agro-industrial event in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. This forum, which will be held at the Expocentre from June 6 to 9, is an effective platform for improving production and innovation.
But this is not only a great presentation of new agro products, pavilions with state-of-the-art equipment, livestock and plants, but also a business event. The exhibition provides unique opportunities for contacts with leaders of the world agrarian sector, dialogue between business and state institutions, associations, scientists.
“AGRO-2018” includes 50 scientific-practical conferences, seminars roundtables. AgroDay has selected the most interesting of these events.
On the first day of the forum in 1 pavilion at 16:00, the specialists of the departments of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy will mark the “Priorities of the state financial support of the agro-industrial complex in 2018”, and at 17 o’clock they will talk about “Adaptation of agricultural production to climate change”.
At the opening of the exhibition, the first persons of the state are expected, in particular, the head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Maxim Maritnyuk.
The German-Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Dialogue will be organized by the German Experience Seminar on Rural Development. This project assists Ukrainian politicians and legislators in reforming agrarian policy and legislation, taking into account the experience of Germany and other countries.
This is a joint project of the German Ministry of Food and Agriculture, IAK & Consulting GmbH, the Leibniz Agricultural Development Institute in Transition Economies (IAMO) and the Center for International Migration and Development (CIM).
The second day will start from the roundtable “Regulatory and technical support and the state of development of the standard for wheat grain DSTU 3768”, which will hold in the hall 1 of the pavilion Institute of grain crops of NAAS.
And in the third hall of the same pavilion, the Institute of Horticulture of NAAS will discuss “State and prospects of berry growing in Ukraine”
“Scientific principles of the treatment of grapes and wine (ampelot and enoterapia)” – theme of the roundtable of the Institute of Viticulture and Wine. V.E. Tairov, that will pass from dinner.
The Institute of Oilseeds of NAAS will reveal the theme “Strategies for the development of niche oilseeds in Ukraine”.
A notable event on the third day of the exhibition is the Seminar “Meat Shepherd”, organized by the Askania-Nova Institute of Livestock Farming of the M.F. Ivanov steppe regions.
On June 8, the first International Forum for Agrarian Innovation “Agro Innovations Forum 2018” will be held within the framework of the exhibition, moderated by Valeriy Yakovenko, co-founder of DroneUA.
