Andriy Matsola, the famous Ukrainian brewer, launched the first craft beer hub, Insider Craft Hub, in Lviv. This hub will become a place where any kraft brewer, having only his own original recipe, will be able to come and brew beer without investing money in raw materials and equipment, Economic Truth reports.

The hub is based on the capacities of the first brewery with which Matsola started his business. He decided to give this room to create a space where Ukrainian and foreign brewers can experiment with their recipes.

He will start working in full in June. However, Andres Kissmeier, a craft brewer from Denmark, already used the opportunity to brew beer here. In the fall, Ukrainian colleagues will be able to take advantage of this opportunity. To do this, they will only need to fill out a questionnaire on the Hub’s website.

Among the proposed recipes, professional tasters-experts will choose those that, in their opinion, will most meet the tastes of Ukrainian consumers. And their authors will be able to brew their own product at the facilities of Insider Craft Hub. In addition, they will receive all necessary raw materials and professional support free of charge.

Beer brewed in the Hub will be produced under the brand name Insider Craft Hub, emphasizing the authorship of a particular brewer. It will be distributed in the distribution network of the First Private Brewery. Each brewer will receive royalties from sales.

No less important task that Insider Craft Hub sets itself is to make craft beer available to the Ukrainian average consumer because imported сraft beer is quite expensive. But the beer, brewed in Ukraine by Kissmeier, will cost about 30 UAH per bottle.

Moreover, the quality of the beer from the Insider Craft Hub will not be inferior in quality to imported craft beer, since one of the most modern laboratories in Ukraine is equipped here.

Craft beer in Ukraine today occupies only 1% of the total market, but the growth of its share, despite the higher than the mass price, is inevitable. This, in turn, will enable Ukraine to represent a better product on the world stage.
